Qualifications
Applicants for the office of notary public must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Graduated high school or passed equivalency exam
- Be a resident of the Virgin Islands for a minimum of 5 years
- Legal resident of the United States
- Not convicted of any crime within or outside of the Virgin Islands
- Investigation by the Lieutenant Governors office
