What do I need to bring to the class?
After you register for your class, download a free copy of the California Notary Public Handbook, and the Notary Application Form. It is strongly recommended to type your information into the application. Typed applications are preferred for ease of processing and minimizing data entry errors.

- Driver's license or State DMV ID card
- Canadian or Mexican Driver's license
- U.S. Passport or Passport issued by a foreign government
- U.S. Military ID Card
- No other forms of photo ID are allowed
- Completed, printed application
- 2" x 2" color passport-type application photograph

- New applicants and reappointments: $40.00
- Applicants who failed their last exam: $20.00
- The candidate's name must be preprinted on the check; temporary checks are not accepted.

- Pen and Yellow highlighter for notations in the Study Manual
